2026 Rules & Regulations
The official law of the Keenan Klan. The website is the official score —
independent of what you think you saw or read in the paper.
Serpentine Draft
- The draft is serpentine; the order is drawn in advance. Drafting the right number of players at each position is your responsibility.
- Live online draft: Sunday, September 6 at 6:00 PM at the Yahoo league.
- All entry fees must be paid by Sunday, August 16 by noon. Load extra money for waivers — if you're out of money, you can't make waiver moves.
- Keepers must be sent to the commissioner by Sunday, August 30 by noon. The commissioner circulates the full keeper list so everyone knows who's off the board.
- Pick timers: 1 minute per pick for rounds 1–2, 2 minutes from round 3 on.
- Draft-pick trades are allowed as long as everyone ends up with their 14 picks. No fee in 2026.
Rosters
- Rosters are 14 players.
- Weekly starting lineup: 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 FLEX (RB/WR/TE), 1 K, 1 DEF/ST.
- All roster changes must be in before the starting player's kickoff, and must be done through the website. No exceptions.
Keepers
- Every team may keep one player for next year.
- Cost: forfeit the pick from the round the player was drafted in. Free-agent pickups cost your last pick.
- Keeper (franchise) fee: $20, added to the Super Bowl winner's pot.
Waiver Wire
- Waiver claims run Tuesday 12:00 AM through Wednesday 12:00 AM. Every pickup costs $2.
- Waiver priority is set by All-Play record.
- From Wednesday 12:00 AM until each player's kickoff: first come, first served.
- After week 10 waivers process, pickups become permanently first come, first served.
- Monday-night players can still be dropped and replaced from the Monday-night game.
Trades
- Trading window: end of draft until Week 10 kickoff. Cost: $2 per owner per player.
- Trades exist for one reason: to strengthen both teams.
- Forbidden: selling players for outside money, combining teams into a "super team," and any trade detrimental to the league.
- All trades are approved by the Commissioner (Duane Keenan Jr.) and the Rules Committee (Dwight Keenan and Dustin Keenan Jr.; alternate: Larry Rogers).
Season & All-Play
- The regular season is 14 weeks, starting NFL Week 1.
- Every team plays all 11 other teams every week. That weekly record builds your All-Play record — the official standings.
- All-Play ties at season's end are broken by total points.
- Playoffs are Weeks 15–17: the top 6 seeds play all-play against each other for three weeks; playoff payouts are ranked by All-Play record over those weeks alone.
- NFL Playoff Pool: build your best roster from playoff-team players. The season's transaction fees pay the top 3 (50% / 30% / 20%).
